PlannersToolkit was created by professional urban planners for other urban planners. Our mission is to provide the tools which help novice planners excel in their careers and daily jobs.

To enlighten you about some of the links at the top of each page, here is an explanation of them.

The Best Practices Section is the place where planners can go to get ideas about how to make a name for themselves. Look for materials such as annual reports, compendiums, operations manuals and other examples of items which could assist you in making a name for yourself, whether you're in a leadership role or one of influence. At present, this section is still under construction: October, 2009.

The Book Store is the best place to find affordable books on urban planning. Order new or used books which you previously couldn't afford. If you can't find something, let us know by emailing us at info@plannerstoolkit.com and we'll find it for you.

The Classified Section is the place where planners can freely advertise,  post their items or purchase items from others. This site is presently under construction: April, 2010.

The Jobs Section is the comprehensive location for planning jobs.  If you're in the mood to switch jobs, or find your next job, look no further, pick the State you're interested in and take a look.

The Repository is the place to find copies of Comprehensive, and Strategic Plans, Subdivision Regulations, Zoning Ordinances, Graphics and other planning materials from other planning sites.

The Templates Section is the place where planners can download sample files such as forms, reports, and etc. that can be used on the job.
